We have a great affordable nonprofit learning tip from our Director of Thriving Communities, Vicki Fernandez: check out nonprofit vendors' websites for free learning resources. Keep reading to see what Vicki has to say!

Although vendor sponsored webinars can be iffy or feel like a bit of a sales pitch, some vendors are raising the bar. There have been a number of free virtual conferences recently from vendors like Blackbaud, Zoom, Canva, etc. with incredible key notes from A-listers like Issa Rae and America Ferrera. A bunch of nonprofit vendors are also hosting talks, webinars, and virtual gatherings with sector thought-leaders. Kishshana Palmer is one great example of a leader who is generally seen on stage at major conferences and convenings, but in a few days, she'll be doing a free webinar with the team at Bloomerang.

Bloomerang is like Blackbaud, and their educational resources look really good. They are free, you can get CFRE credits for a lot of sessions when you attend live, and it looks like everything is recorded in case you miss the live option. I checked out some of their archives and it's pretty impressive. I know very little about Bloomerang as a vendor, so this is not an endorsement or critique of their product, but I will be sure to keep their educational outreach on my radar.

Do you have any favorite nonprofit vendors that provide valuable and free learning resources? We'd love to hear about them! Feel free to email me at vicki@gruninfoundation.org with your go-to resources.
