Grantee Spotlight: Reach Out and Read - New Jersey

Reach Out and Read New Jersey serves babies, toddlers and preschoolers growing up in low-income communities in more than 100 health clinics throughout the state. Grunin Foundation's funding supports this programming in Ocean County, New Jersey.

Reach Out and Read New Jersey gives young children a foundation for success by incorporating books into pediatric care and encouraging families to read aloud together. They believes all families should have the tools and information they need to make shared reading a daily routine. They help integrate guidance about reading into pediatric practices, advise families about the importance of building healthy relationships, and share books that serve as a catalyst for healthy childhood development and family bonds.

Our grantee partners are doing incredible work in the community - advancing an equitable, just, and vibrant Central Jersey Shore. We believe in the sharing of stories, learnings, and accomplishments of people, organizations, and community. Each week, we will highlight a grantee partner who we have funded in the prior quarter. Please visit their websites and learn more about how they are impacting the people they serve and the greater community.
