Meet Project Write Now!
Project Write Now (PWN) is a 501(c)(3) transforming individuals, organizations, and communities through writing. Since 2014, they have been committed to building a vibrant writing community for youth and adults.
PWN provide a wide range of fee-based virtual classes, editorial services, and literary events.
At the heart of PWN's mission is their community outreach programs for underserved groups. These programs help youth and adults develop the writing and communication skills needed to build resilience, pursue personal growth, and achieve academic or professional success.
Some examples of their long-standing programs include weekly expressive writing workshops for 7th and 8th graders at Red Bank Middle School, bi-monthly workshops for members of Shore House (adults living with mental illness) in Long Branch, college essay coaching for eligible students who can’t afford their services, and workshops for mentorship programs, such as Womyn’s Worth at Lunch Break.
You can learn more about their community outreach programs here.

Our grantee partners are doing incredible work in the community - advancing an equitable, just, and vibrant Central Jersey Shore. We believe in the sharing of stories, learnings, and accomplishments of people, organizations, and community. Each week, we will highlight a grantee partner who we have funded in the prior quarter. Please visit their websites and learn more about how they are impacting the people they serve and the greater community.
